Some Figures and a Perspective

Here's some stuff I did for my Drawing Studio. Theirs only 7 more classes to go and I'm a little sad about that. I've actually enjoyed learning and drawing things like this.

The first two are gesture drawings that took about 3 minutes each. The third is one that we had about 30 minutes to work on. And then the perspective of Shafer's spiral staircase took a couple weeks. And then a hand...

Something, finally!

Here's a still life i've been working on in Drawing Studio for the past couple weeks. It's actually been kind of fun because of the items i found at a thrift store. Sombrero ashtray, car part, tiger thing, cow flashlight.

I was at the beach last week so I haven't really done anything lately except for this thing, which was just kind of for fun.



I doubt I'll be doing a daily thing anymore, probably every other/few days, but keep checking in, because I'll keep updating.

This counts as a couple days right? Anyway, a semi-portrait of my dad, not finished, I may color over it. The idea behind it is that it shows two sides to him. One, collected (top) and the other wide eyed and unsure (bottom). Hoping to polish it up a bit soon.

A new one. Did this earlier today, was tough getting it going, I don't think I primed it enough after stretching the canvas last night. It's not finished, but I don't feel like working on it any more, it doesn't feel right to me.
